SOY PROTEIN Soy possesses all nine essential amino acids needed by the body however, because the majority of soy produced in the world is now GMO, and there is evidence regarding the effects of the soy's natural phytoestrogens and how they can play a part in altering the body's natural hormonal balance, soy protein is not the plant of choice.
