However, many popsicles, ice cream cones, and other pre-made frozen delicacies contain not-so-cool ingredients. Yes you heard right! Those tasty treats in the freezer aisle may contain high fructose corn syrups, artificial flavors—the list goes on. But don't fret! Making your own frozen treats is easier than you may think. Homemade popsicles can include all the good stuff your body needs, including fiber-filled fruit, and nutrient-dense protein...while leaving all the not so good stuff out. Don't have a popsicle mold? No worries there, as we have some tips and tricks to achieve that nostalgic freeze-pop, with some handy tools you may already have around your kitchen. Make it POP! Did you know popsicles were invented by accident? This classic treat was mistakenly made in 1905 by a young boy, who forgot a glass of water/soda with a wooden stirrer in it outside in the cold overnight. Now that's cool!
